Justin Sullivan A Life Worth Following

Our first tournament of the season took us to Little Rock, Arkansas where we won each game in convincing fashion. On top of playing great baseball we were also able to partner with Immanuel Baptist church where we put on a free baseball clinic for the children of Little Rock.

The second week we hosted the 4th annual Justin Sullivan Tournament where we had another strong showing. We won our pool, but got beat in the semi finals. From there we traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Brett Brothers Woodbat Tournament during the College World Series. We won the tournament and we were able to share the gospel with teams from Texas, Kansas, and Missouri.

Then we headed to Topeka and took second in the Great Plains Shootout, a 36 team wood bat tournament. We were able to share Christ with teams from all over Kansas and Missouri. We were also able to do a clinic in Manhattan, Kansas in which about 50 kids were able to learn baseball and hear the gospel.

Next, we went to Nacogdoches, Texas where we lost a close game in the finals to take second place in the Stephen F. Austin showcase.

Our last Trip was perhaps the most memorable. Our summer ended with a trip to Nicaragua, where we went unbeaten on the baseball diamond. We were able to give free baseball clinics to the children of Leon, Nicaragua and share the gospel at every baseball game to thousand’s of people. We also visited a community that lives feet from the city dump and we were able to provide meals for the children of the community. We also aided a local church by providing food, and activities for the children of the neighborhood. Once again God has blessed us beyond measure.

Right now, we are in the middle of preparing for the summer of 2012.  Our roster is shaping up and our ministry opportunities are coming together.  I hope that you will consider helping us How you can help next summer
