In the paper today

How cool is this...

We just came down to breakfast at the hotel and the Ambassadors made the news.  We opened up the Zocalo Saltillo and there in the sports section is an article about the Ambassadors.

Since we have received an invitation to play the very best team in this city, the paper wrote an article discussing the game today and our team.  The team we are playing is a group made up of the best players of all the teams in this part of Mexico.  Yesterday, we won 21-0 so now they want to beat us.  How cool is this.

I know that our guys can play baseball and I know that people have been coming out to watch our games but sometimes we wonder if we are really making an impact.  Well today, the Lord has blessed us with influence because the article says that we are a team that practices religion but we are a young semi-professional team.

I don't know all that the Lord has in store for us today but one thing is for sure, we are going to get to finish up a great three day clinic today where we have blessed a church, we are going to play some really good baseball today and we are going to have a group of people who will again hear about Jesus on the baseball field.

We are really fired up.  God is so good.

Please pray that we continue to play well so that we can earn share Christ effectively.  Pray that God will continue to speak to the heart of each Ambassador as they see God working all around them.  Pray that people whom we speak with today will be receptive to the Spirit of God and the message of Christ.

I just love living missionally.  There is nothing more exciting in all of life.
