Larry Nation

  Coach Nation has been married to his wife, Merry, since 1969. They are both graduates of Southeast High School. He has two daughters (Jenni & Syndi) and four Grandchildren (Merriah, Zac, Brayden, and Parker). After attending Central State College and receiving his B.S. Degree in the spring of 1971, he coached Baseball at Southeast High School from 1971-1990. He then coached for three years while at U. S. Grant, from 1990-1994. Upon the reopening of Southeast , Coach Nation returned as the Head Baseball Coach for the 1995 through 1999 seasons, retiring in 2000. He has been a Christian since childhood, and enjoyed serving as the FCA Sponsor during his early years at Southeast . In addition to Baseball, Coach Nation loves Classic Cars. However, his new, favorite pastime is letting the other Ambassador Coaches know that he coached, coached against, or coached with, practically everyone they know, or are related to.
